Every bowl has a story

and ours begins with curry

In Japan, curry isn’t just food, it’s comfort. A warm plate after school, a quick lunch between friends, a dish that feels like home. We wanted to bring that feeling to the Netherlands, in our own way.

That’s how Kiiro was born: the very first Japanese curry house in the country. Our name means yellow — the color of turmeric, the spice that gives curry its golden glow and gentle warmth.

But Kiiro is more than turmeric, more than curry. It’s a place where you can choose, play, and create. Pick your base, your favorite toppings, your spice — and make a curry that’s yours. Add a katsu sando on the side, share a Kiirobop, or finish with something sweet.

We’re here for the everyday moments and the big ones too — a quick solo lunch, a dinner with friends, or a table full of coworkers sharing something new.

Kiiro is about food that’s fresh, colorful, and never complicated. It’s about bringing people together, one golden bowl at a time.
